Erasmus- KA2 Project:
Internationalisation of Higher Education Institutes in India and Nepal European Union is doing a project on Internationalisation of Higher Education Institutes in India and Nepal. SCET has been selected as Lead Institution from India as part of this project. SCET will study and do research in various Indian universities and institutions about best Practices followed in Internationalisation. SCET will guide IPSA-Rajkot, SMAID-Vidhyanagar, VESIM-Mumbai & NMREC-Hyderabad to conduct above mentioned studies in various states of India. At the end of this project, SCET will have an International office at Faculty of Architecture, SCET. For the said project, KOM- Kick off Meeting was held at Kathmandu, Nepal during 10-13 December 2019 and representatives of SCET were Prof. Persi Engineer, Mr. C. S. Jariwala, Prof. Hiren Patel & Prof. Hardik Gandhi. The project is co-funded by European Union.
Further in the project, all the studies related to Internationalization were conducted in spite of COVID-19 pandemic. Almost 120 institutions participated in the survey and the survey was concluded on 9th November, 2020 through online mode. This Work Package-1 included a detailed report and online discussion.
This project helped SCET in expanding the horizon of exchanging the knowledge, opened
various avenues of research and collaborations with local and global institutions. SCET is the
only institution in entire South Gujarat to have such project and platform for its students
and teachers, which helped SCET in acquiring best resources in entire region.
