Significant Achievements to Commence 2025
We are pleased to announce that Sarvajanik University's Institute of Design Planning & Technology (IDPT-SCET) has participated for the third time in the national-level National Organization of Students of Planning (NOSPlan) convention. NOSPlan, a key association for Urban Planning students in India, aims to enhance Urban Planning education standards through innovation and discussions.
The 26th annual NOSPLAN convention took place from January 3rd to 5th at Lovely Professional University in Punjab, attracting around 1,250 students from 19 institutions. IDPT-SCET achieved notable honours at this event.
Planning Category 1) Third Position in Crowd Craft trophy- Planning proposal to manage pilgrim crowd
2) First Position in Live Project for Child Friendly City- IDPT presented proposal to create child friendly environment to improve safety and security of children residing in industrial areas of Surat.
3) Third Position in Urban IQ – Quiz based on urban planning topics.
Publication Category 4) Second Position in Urban Canvas- Display/presentation of academic assignments across all subjects completed during the academic term.
5) Third Position in Silent Pulse- short-film made on contribution of various municipal workers.
Entertainment Category 6) First Position in Rangmanch (Drama) 7) Second Position in City in Bloom (Fashion)
8) IDPT-SCET won 3rd Position in overall Planning Trophy Category- given to colleges for overall performance.

NOSPLAN CONVENTION 2025
