The Council of Architecture (COA) had organized Student Biennale, Samunnati 2023

The Council of Architecture (COA) had organized Student Biennale, Samunnati 2023, hosted at the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi between 9th to 15th of December 2023. The Student Biennale is a part of the Ministry of Culture Initiative of the India Art, Architecture, Design Biennale being hosted at the Red Fort, New Delhi. We take immense pride in announcing exceptional achievements of Faculty of Architecture, IDPT-SCET in Samunnati Student Biennale 2023. 1) For Under Grade Thesis: Category A- Architecture Design Darshan Sukhadia won prestigious JK Arya award for Best student of the year 2023. 2) For Under Grade Thesis: Category B- Project addressing concerns within the society Niharika Tare won runner up position at National level. 3) For Students' Awards for Excellence in Documentation of Architectural Heritage: Category A- Architectural Heritage- Faculty of Architecture IDPT-SCET received runner up position at National level. 4) For Students' Awards for Excellence in Documentation of Architectural Heritage: Category B- Arts & Crafts Related to Buildings - Faculty of Architecture IDPT-SCET received certificate of merit at National level. 5) Besides above mentioned achievements, Prof. Bhavna Vimawala felicitate by COA president Prof. Abhay Purohit for coordinating COA UG Thesis juries and awards process. 6) Prof. Vishal Shah was invited as industry expert for panel discussion on topic "Challenges and opportunities for young practices" with eminent architects from all over India. This event was organized at Lalit Kala academy on 14th December. 7) Chandrayan Moon House Design challenge: IDPT-SCET submitted 3 entries and all 3 entries shortlisted for exhibition & juries. Out of them following 2 entries won at National level. Entry 1 - 1st Position at Nationals. Entry 2 - 2nd Runner up at Nationals.  Poster Design Challenge: IDPT-SCET submitted 2 entries and BOTH entries shortlisted for exhibition. Both entries won first position at National level. Entry 1- 1st Position at Nationals. Entry 2- 1st Position at Nationals.
