Kutchh

Students M.Plan. & M.Arch. met with Mr.Amit Arora, IAS, Kutchh Collector Shri and briefly Interacted with him for community & Regional development Issues in Kutchh District. They highlighted infrastructure needs and proposed sustainable solutions for local & Community challenges. In the 2nd half Students visited the Heritage Monument within Bhuj City. Pragmahal, Ainamahal, Chatedi, Hamirsar Lake.

Students of M.Plan. & M.Arch. visited Adani Port & Logistic, Mundra and had brief understanding of Mundra Port Project and its Future Regional Development Impacts. The Presentation, Interaction & Site Visit was conducted by Mr. Pururajsinh Zala, Senior Manager of Port Authority. In the 2nd half Students visited Mandvi Town, interacted with localities to understand Agricultural Practice & Infrastructure Aspects in Southern Kutchh. Students also visited the Heritage Monument of Mandvi Town. In the evening, a group of students visited Smrutivan Museum at Bhuj

Students of M.Plan. & M.Arch. visited Dholavira : A Harappan City located in The Great Rann and Explored the Banni Area in Northern Kutchh. The Area has a rich tapestry of Cultural, Handicrafts & Heritage. In the 2nd Half of the day, Group of Students visited Mr. Chirag Bhatt, Town Planner, Bhuj Area Development Authority (BHADA) and got insight for Urban & Regional Development in Kutchh. Some of the Students visited Mr. Jigar Patel, Chief Municipal Officer, Bhuj Nagarpalika and had brief insights about Bhuj City.
