Study Tour for 1st Year - Foundation Year Students visited Udaipur total 193 students and 10 faculty members, Prof. Niraj Naik, Prof. Sarupa Dave, Prof. Alapa Pandya, Prof. Palke Patel, Prof Kunjan Goswami, Prof. Rajashri Smart, Prof. Naishad Jani, Prof. Krushnapriya Smart, Prof. Abhishek Mandala, Prof. Yogendra Patel, students studied the history, culture, tradition, rituals, art forms and architecture of the city area. Students would spend significant time within the same community; they are working with, understanding the context, culture, uses of different spaces, document the given study area. 15 study groups have to research on different study areas, pre define by faculty members under the guidance of the allocated faculties. 1. Jagdish temple and its surrounding area. 2. Streets of Udaipur 3. Ghats of Udaipur ( Gangore Ghat, Lalghat, Ambrai Ghat) 4. Aameth haveli 5. Shilpgram. Students stayed in mentioned area from 8.00am to 6.00pm and work on measure drawings, sketches, artforms, frescos, miniature paintings, sculptures, architecture forms and human activities around it.
