"A Step Forward in the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions in Nepal and India"
(InterNepInd)

International Relations Office, Sarvajanik University
Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology and other higher education institutions from Nepal, India and Europe have partnered together in an international project called “A step forward in the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions in Nepal and India” (InterNepInd). The project is co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Erasmus+ is the European Union Program in the field of Education, Training, Youth and Sport for the period 2014-2020. Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Spain is the project coordinator. The project shall run for 24 months, starting from November 15, 2019 to May 15, 2022.

The Sarvajanik University strives to prepare intellectual and effective global citizens by developing cross-cultural competencies through international partnerships that provide opportunities to expand the reach of knowledge, research, service, curricula and employment prospects.
Mission of the International Relations Office
To become a globally engaged institution through promotion and integration of international initiatives supporting teaching, research and service efforts through internationalism and international partnerships that connect with the world community meaningfully and responsibly.
Goals of the International Relations Office
- To establish academic agreements with international reputable engineering universities/institutions to get affiliations/accreditation for the college and in various programs and act towards the implementations of the MoU signed.
- To establish relationships with various academic/professional societies and to establish units, chapters, or sections of various international technology groups.
- To strengthen the academic relationships thus established by Joint Academic Venture (JAV), especially:
- Academic Exchange Programs
- Joint Degree Programs
- Bilateral Academic Agreements
- To venture as a consultant for an international institution or to form partnerships for consultancy works with various international firms.
- To help coordinate Graduate, Postgraduate or Ph.D. programs for Sarvajanik University faculties and students.
- To organize international job placements, training, workshops, seminars, etc.
- To acquire the services of foreign academic experts for enhancing the quality of education in Sarvajanik University.
- To explore possibilities in publishing Sarvajanik University educational materials by international publishers.
- To pursue research, teaching, project grants or financial assistance from international institutions.
