Established in 1995, our institution is gearing to become one of the finest in the country in the field of architectural education.

Our aim is to motivate the students for a quality learning process through a well structured exploration of fundamental knowledge of Architecture.

Since architecture is a dialogue between aesthetics, cultures, technology and functionality, we aspire to sensitise students’ faculties, sharpen their observations and perceptions through exposition to hands on skills and various subjects ranging from Architectural Design, Building technologies to Humanities. Our students develop a passion for architecture, respecting and supporting diverse design attitudes. We emphasise and encourage critical thinking and reward visionary concepts reinforcing creative discovery.

The Faculty constantly endeavors to review the Academic programmes in the curricula to keep abreast of changing trends and disciplines in tandem with aspirations of society.

With rapid urbanization, an ever increasing requirement of professionals in Construction and management, Designing and Planning, is assured. Therein also lies the potential for architects to develop into successful entrepreneurs.

Our strength lies in pleasant environment in the heart of Surat city, excellent infrastructure facilities, qualified and practicing faculty and a deep commitment to developing socially responsible graduates who can meet the challenges of their profession.

The Faculty of Architecture has a policy to impact positively policy makers and the general public with an active and widely recognized SRDC providing consultancy services. The Faculty of Architecture is thus working to create a meaningful impact in society and the built environment.
